4. Love Pillow - Catherine

Despite the suggestive items present in the 'Love is Over' Deluxe Edition, Catherine, while provocative at times, is a serious game about the guilt of having an affair. Protagonist Vincent is tormented by nightmares after he engages in a relationship with two women, and his moral conundrum makes for much of the game's story.

You'd think that the deluxe edition of the game would come with something more fitting of the tale, yet what was actually bundled was, amongst other things, a love pillow.

Outside of its, obvious, limited use, the product implies the game is more provocative than it is. There are moments where Vincent's adultery gets steamy, as Catherine (with a C)'s youthful and playful nature lends itself well to seduction, and Vincent's stale relationship with Katherine (with a K) is enough to entice him into an affair. However, the deluxe edition would have you believe the whole game is far more smutty than it actually is.

Those who would find amusement in a love pillow are probably not likely to enjoy the mature themes the game presents, and those who are willing to use the product are probably even more immature.
