10 Video Game Protagonists Who Were Way Too Satisfying To Kill

7. The Postal Dude - Postal 2

The Postal series has never taken itself seriously, be it when tackling the complex subjects of bodily fluid, Gary Coleman, or even one's right to die...by blowing their head off and shoving a freaking grenade in their mouth! In the original Postal, pressing the suicide key would simply have the Postal Dude shoot himself, but developers Running with Scissors completely upped their game for the sequel in every way, and especially when it came to suicide. If, for any reason (and there are certainly enough of them), you wanted to reload your game (probably due to a frequently-occurring glitch or just a lack of ammo), all it takes is one button press and you get to watch this glorious animation. Postal Dude proclaims "I regret nothing", pulls the pin, shoves the grenade in his mouth and then holds his hands out as if enjoying a Zen-like calm, moments before his head is violently exploded, blood flying out in every direction, along with, hilariously, any possessions you have on your person at the time. For added amusement, kit yourself out in a gimp suit first. If the game is going to require the odd reload due to its rather sketchy composition and clear lack of QA testing, at least it allows us to have fun getting there. For some reason they took the suicide option out of Postal 3, but we never liked that game anyway...
