8. Embracing Evil Unlocks The Best Powers - Spider-Man: Web Of Shadows

Bioshock Little Sister
Activision

Spider-Man: Web of Shadows was an incredibly ambitious superhero title for its time. Not only does Spidey have to face off with a plethora of superfoes, but the web-slinger also has to deal with the Venom Symbiote, which has infected his body.

Much like Knights of the Old Republic, a major part of the gameplay revolves around the web-slinger being forced into moral dilemmas, as the Symbiote tries to wrangle control of his mind. In these moments, Our Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man must decide whether to stick with his moral code or embrace his inner demons.

Now, everybody knows the canonical Peter Parker would never go down the evil route because "with great power, comes great responsibility" yada yada yada.

With that said, breaking bad makes the alien costume drastically stronger. Armed with a new set of combos and moves, the webhead can dominate the most powerful supervillains. Also, upgrading the Venom suit allows Spider-Man to slide on an enemy like a surfboard and smash them into a batch of baddies. (Seriously, performing this attack never gets old.)

Going down the dark path will lead to untold destruction, but it's still fun as hell.
