10 Video Game Secrets You WERE Supposed To Find

8. The Darkness - To Kill A Mockingbird

The Darkness remains an under appreciated franchise that spanned across a few entries over the last generation. It only conjured two entries, but both introduced us to this dark underworld of the mafia, while infusing it with supernatural abilities.

Yet, one of The Darkness's best moments lies fairly early in its game time. Despite the fact you grow demonic tentacle creatures out of your body, it presents a sweeter moment early on that could slip past those eager to press on, despite being right under your very nose.

A scene in which you spend an evening on the sofa with your loving partner happens, as you both snuggle up and settle in for a movie night. The moving in question being To Kill A Mockingbird, a classic in its own right.

After a few minutes, you're able to end the scene and continue on with the game, but keep seated and you'll find that in fact this is actually the whole film playing in front of your very eyes.

It's a sweet, sincere moment and one that broke boundaries of what games can achieve. It also made itself a completely blatant Easter egg that could easily be skipped, especially considering this is a two hour movie experience. The choice is yours.
