10 Video Game Sequels That Look WORSE Than What Came Before
5. Crackdown 2
Crackdown 2 is best described as a full-priced, numbered, expansion pack to the original game. Featuring much of the same as the original it gives little in the way of new features and also reused much of the same assets the first game utilized.
All that is bad enough, but Ruffian Games' second outing to the series also shipped with many of the game's textures not fully rendered. With the graphics unfinished it made what could be seen as simply a rehash of the first actually wind up looking even worse than said original.
Imagine making a grand dinner for your significant other, and they say they like it, so the next night you make another - but you don't broil it long enough and you just hand them the same dish they had last night, but undercooked. Nobody's going to be happy. Your significant other will be left hungry and underwhelmed and you'll be left sleeping on the sofa, where you belong.
The best thing about the game is Terry Crews, and though he is fantastic at just about everything he does, even Mr. Crews is not enough to make this recycled plate of leftovers palatable.
