10 Video Game Sequels That Look WORSE Than What Came Before
4. WWE 2K20
Oh what a disaster this game was. Aside from the buggy controls and glitches on release, the graphics were god-awful compared to the previous year's title. IGN, which has a habit of scoring even dribble highly, gave the game a 4.3 out of 10! To give you an idea, IGN scored that abysmal Ghostbusters game from 2016 that we mentioned previously as a 4.4. The game that sank an entire studio got a tenth of a point more than this one!
One of the major boons to the game was the inclusion of no less than 238 wrestlers to play as. But a major criticism is that many of them looked like they'd just been ported straight from one of the series' PlayStation 2 versions. Considering the series had been trending down until it got revitalized by 2K19's release, it only served to make 2K20 that much bigger of a hammer slam into the ground.
Assuming, of course, the models even loaded properly. It wasn't uncommon to have a wrestler's face just...not appear. Imagine all the buggy cut scenes with floating eyeballs from Assassin's Creed: Unity thrown into a ring and made to duke it out.
Well, no, actually that might be kind of interesting to watch. Nightmare-inducing, no doubt, but interesting.
