The Far Cry series prides itself on being a high octane, fast paced, first person shooter with a massive open world to explore and a variety of characters to meet...or kill. Which is why its so hilarious to see the game give you an option to end the game without firing a single bullet and within the first fifteen minutes.

Far Cry 4 allows you to shoot, fly, stab and drive your way around the fictional Himalayan country of Kyrat in the pursuit of overthrowing tyrannical leader Pagan Min and scattering your mothers ashes.

In the opening sequences of the game, Pagan abducts you and brings you to his palace. After a brief “chat” he leave you alone to take a phone call and asks that you wait for his return. This is usually the part where any sane person would get up and get the hell out of dodge.

But if you just wait for roughly ten minutes, Pagan will return and take you to a shrine for your mother. You lay her ashes to rest and then you fly off with Pagan while the end credits begin to role.

Who needs a game about rebuilding a rebellion against a psychotic dictator, when you can just pop in, do your thing and pop out. Simple.
