10 Video Game Villains That Bend Time And Space Itself!

You probably weren't expecting to see Peter Parker on this list, right? Well, the web-slinger's divisive 2011 game Spider-Man: The Edge Of Time uses timey-timey shenanigans to have Peter ultimately facing off against a version of himself from the year 2099.

This version of Peter has given up the Spider-Man mantle and used anti-ageing drugs to prolong his life, though he remains wracked with guilt over everyone he's lost throughout his life.

And so, the future Peter plots a master plan, to manipulate the energy generated from the game's two duelling timelines - present-day Peter Parker's reality and his own in 2099 - to effectively re-write history, bringing back those he has lost such as Uncle Ben.

However, future Peter is eventually overcome by Miguel O'Hara aka Spider-Man 2099, and given that present Peter is now armed with all this knowledge of his possible future, it's safe to say that it won't ever happen, wiping the megalomaniacal, villainous Peter from existence in the process.
