10 Video Game Villains That Were Total Rubbish

10. Alduin

Game: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was a great open-world RPG - if you ignored the fact that the main quest line was total garbage, that got worse as it went along. It started out strong, with Alduin making a terrifying introduction during the opening beheading scene. Unfortunately, by the time we actually go around to meeting Alduin face to face in the story's climax, we'd already killed enough dragons to make a fortress out of their toe nails. The battle against Alduin wasn't particularly difficult, and took place on a disappointingly tiny arena that took zero advantage of the beautiful open world. Most of all, Alduin never really felt like an imminent threat beyond people occasionally reminding you that yes, he is indeed an imminent threat. It's hard to feel in much danger when you've got the time to steal and entire town's worth of cutlery at your leisure.
