10 Video Games That Would Be Awesome In First Person
6. Metal Gear Solid
Granted, the Metal Gear series has allowed one to engage in first person since 1998's PSX classic, Metal Gear Solid. But was only a temporary solution, as it was used for strategic purposes to sneak more effectively. First person stealth is something that was nearly perfected in 1999's Thief: The Dark Project, but it was a much more pure vision that lacked the weapons-heavy style of Metal Gear. It's intriguing to think about sneaking your way through Shadow Moses Island in first person, as the immersion that could be created is potentially amazing. The hide and seek game play of something like Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a good place to start, sharing similar concepts with Metal Gear in that regard. Half of what makes Metal Gear so exciting is the wild imagination of Hideo Kojima, which makes witnessing the Psycho Mantis boss battle in first person even more exciting.
