10 Video Games Beaten In Minutes With INSANE Glitches

7. Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

Three minutes. That's how long it takes to complete Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (at least, in theory).

Now, such a claim sounds unfeasible to even the most skilled players, since this Elder Scrolls instalment should take 30+ hours to complete. (Hell, the tutorial alone takes at least ten minutes.)

However, nobody should underestimate the ingenuity and tenacity of speedrunners. By quicksaving while standing in certain locations, the unnamed protagonist may find themselves out-of-bounds after reloading their save file. By routinely utilising this glitch from the beginning, players can wander to areas that are supposedly off-limits.

Since the final area, The Temple of the One, isn't located too far from the starting point, the climax can be reached extremely quickly.

Now, the ending can only be triggered by a specific character called Martin, (which is a disappointingly ordinary name for an Elder Scrolls character). Since the hero cheated his way to his destination, Martin will be nowhere to be seen, seemingly softlocking the player's progress.

But by sleeping for a couple of hours, (which takes a few seconds in real-time), Martin inexplicably appears, allowing players to beat Oblivion 500 times faster than normal.
