10 Video Games That Failed So Hard They Actually Won

4. 50 Cent: Bulletproof

There's definitely something to be said about a rapper who's so self-aware of his own over-exaggerated gun-friendly image that he stars in a game where to the backing of his own music, you can indulge in many gore-happy close-up kills along with wasting as many people as possible. Second title Blood on the Sand was actually a far more solid affair, but thanks to the barmy plot that saw Fiddy chasing after a diamond-encrusted skull in the desert, it was his first foray into gaming that rode the coattails of the name alone, all the way to the bank. According to NPD, Bulletproof sold 681,000 copies in its first couple of months, leading to 1,123,000 projected sales for the year of 2009. We can only imagine what that eventually bloated to.
