10 Video Games Netflix Could Adapt After The Witcher

7. Wolfenstein

Cyberpunk 2077 Netflix
Bethesda

There is no shortage of Bethesda properties that could make for a great TV series, be it Fallout, Prey, or The Elder Scrolls. However the one that seems most fitting is Wolfenstein. While Amazon Prime has the excellent Man In The High Castle series, Netflix doesn't have any Nazi-related shows. As such, an adaption of Bethesda's bonkers Nazi-killing games could be perfect.

Wolfenstein isn't your average WWII what-if? series, it goes far and beyond that and dives off into the deep-end of madness. That means Wolfenstein would require a fairly hefty budget because it doesn't just feature lots of period clothing and set-dressing, but also plenty of big mechanical creatures, crazy weaponry, airships, and more.

We talk a lot about Netflix giving creative freedom to most of its productions, however it's not entirely clear if the company would have the cojones to do something quite this off-the-wall. We're talking about a series that takes frequent trips to outer space and features an over-the-top version of Adolf Hitler who pukes, soils himself, and shoots people with every other word.

High-brow it would not be, but if nothing else it would grab some headlines and (hopefully) be entertaining.

Challenge extended, Netflix.
