10 Video Games Sega Should Be Releasing Instead Of Sonic
3. A Proper Panzer Dragoon Sequel
Another on-rails series of titles, Panzer Dragoon almost seamlessly melded the shooter and RPG genres together to create a series unlike any other. As an unnamed hero atop your very own dragon, your only real objective was to dodge anything that looked even remotely threatening while also killing everything on sight. A simple premise, sure, but it's one that spawned several sequels and a spiritual successor in the form of Crimson Dragon - a release title for the Xbox One. Due to it's tortuous development (it was originally a Kinect title that reverted to gamepad controls), Crimson Dragon was received poorly by critics, branding it an unwieldy mess of ideas that showed promise but poor execution. There's still a huge amount of potential left in the series though, and it's certainly one worth revisiting.
