10 Video Games That Have Been Ported To Everything

No open-world game in recent years has taken the world by storm quite like Minecraft has. It's can literally be turned into any game you want it to be, with the only caveat being the trademark blocky look. Naturally, selling like hot cakes for the PC, console releases were to follow after. And my goodness there have been a lot of them!

Starting with an Xbox 360, the infinite world of the PC version was cut down significantly for these releases, placing invisible walls if players got too far. It was a similar story for the PS3 version that released a year later. Between 2014 and 2017, every console of the era would see a version of the game, including ones for Nintendo's New 3DS and the PS Vita

Being such a simple looking game, it's basic enough to be released on even the smallest, low-power consoles and handhelds, hence the New 3DS port. For people with less powerful computers, Mojang released Minecraft 4K, which limits the game down to a map size of 64³ and restricts the overall gameplay to breaking and dropping certain blocks.

There have also been Minecraft editions released to schools for educational purposes, ports for Java software, an edition for some kind of low-grade computer called a Raspberry Pi and VR expansions, making the game playable on around 25 systems, not including unofficial releases.
