10 Video Games That Immortalised Their Fans In Amazing Ways

1. David Acott - Dying Light

David, despite not being old enough to legally have been allowed to play Dying Light, made a video for his Youtube channel stating how excited he was to play. Weeks later, he informed the world via the same media platform that he had a rare form of cancer, but then went back to talk about how he was going to read the game guide for Dying Light to get the most out of it.

Unfortunately, he passed away just before his 18th Birthday in March 2015, yet through parents and friends reaching out to Techland, they found comfort in the dev's response. After inviting them to the studio and meeting with them, they began work on creating a mural to David that could be placed into the game.

The mural was complete, and you can find this loving tribute to David in the game, making it a moment of peace amongst so many rabid zombies.
