Mechwarrior Online is not the type of game that you’d expect to find a five year-old. It’s all war-torn battlescapes and stomping about like you’re a mechagodzilla. However young Sarah Parries really enjoyed the game with her dad, often helping him lay waste to his opponents and zipping about the battlefield in the smaller mechs.

Tragically Sarah lost her battle with cancer in 2013 and so the devs of Mechwarrior online decided to make a custom mech called Sarah’s Jenner which served not only as a loving tribute to her and her fathers time together but also helped raised over 120 thousand dollars for charity with 100 percent of the sales of the mech going to The Canadian Cancer Society.
