10 Video Games That Launched In Unacceptable Condition

1. Mass Effect: Andromeda

Deadly Premonition 2
BioWare

After the hugely popular Mass Effect trilogy's somewhat disappointing ending, all eyes were on the follow-up, Mass Effect: Andromeda, to heal over the rift that had formed between fans of the series and the games' creators.

Unfortunately, upon release, Mass Effect: Andromeda was an appalling mess.

After seeing its release delayed by several months, the game was filled with technical issues.

There were hilarious and well documented problems with characters' facial animations, model issues and Andromeda's graphical capabilities.

BioWare released several patches to fix in-game bugs and improvements to the overall experience, and later one with a focus on sprucing up cinematic scenes, but there was so very much to fix in a game that had no excuses not to be pristine at time of release.

Although everyone was rooting for Mass Effect: Andromeda to be a worthy successor to the original trilogy, it fell incredibly short of the mark, and it now seems that the future of the franchise is up in the air.
