10 Video Games That Launched In Unacceptable Condition
5. Sonic The Hedgehog (2006)
More commonly known as Sonic '06, Sonic the Hedgehog's first outing on seventh-gen consoles is also widely known for being an absolute disaster.
So many holes have been poked in Sonic '06 that it looks less like a video game and more like a smelly, fourteen-year-old pile of Swiss cheese.
The game was released with so many bugs, glitches and parts that seem entirely unfinished that many players simply gave up on it within the first handful of minutes of gameplay.
Sonic '06 is barely playable, due in part to its infuriating glitches and faults, and also its unfriendly camera system and inability to maintain a stable FPS rate.
There's also the small matter of the inexplicably long loading screens, sometimes taking as long as a minute to load a small level of glitchy and incomplete gameplay.
Sonic's 2006 outing has since been mostly removed from shelves in order to increase the brand's value, which should tell you enough about Sega's attitude towards the title.
