10 Video Games That Launched In Unacceptable Condition

6. Fallout 76

Deadly Premonition 2
Bethesda

The botched release that put a bullet in the head of the Fallout franchise's tentative expansion into online play, Fallout 76 was practically a step-by-step guide to sabotaging your own game.

Before even being launched, players who had pre-purchased Fallout 76 for access to the game's beta discovered that the game was only available to play for a few short hours per week, as well as many players being forced to download all 45GB of it for a second time.

Also, it was impossible to uninstall, so if they didn't like it or wanted to play something else during the majority of the week while it was inaccessible, it was just tough tabernacles.

Bethesda even warned at launch that there would be "spectacular bugs", but there were so many features missing that a few technical glitches were the least of players' problems.

From start to finish, Fallout 76's development, release and marketing was handled so badly that it's become little more than a joke, although anyone who paid for it isn't likely to find it all that funny.
