10 Video Games That Let You Be Incredible Criminals

7. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

Inner-city street gangs like the Bloods, Crips, Vice Lords, and Latin Kings don't get a lot of time in the spotlight in video games. When they do it's usually the low-level gangsters you're taking on in the early stages of your run as an undercover cop - before you go after the big crime boss, or when you're a mob enforcer who's not yet made a claim on being the boss, yourself.

The undisputed street gang simulator has to be Grand Theft San Andreas. It's got everything for someone who wants to live life like a Crip - without being unable to wear red (or, y'know, get shot): Tagging walls with a spray can, rap feuds, inner-city turf warfare, drug running, and even doing a drive-by shooting on a bicycle. Okay, so maybe that last one is just GTA being GTA.

For all its flaws - a horribly made train chase mission, plot weaknesses, and the whole 'hot coffee' fiasco - it's still the best game to play if you want to spend some time as an inner-city 'hood'. Filled with tons of GTA's usual over-the-top action and melodrama, even if you're not into the new RPG features the game debuted.
