10 Video Games That Let You DESTROY The Final Boss
8. Void Dragon - Divinity: Original Sin
The Void Dragon from Divinity: Original Sin provides a challenge unlike anything else in the game. The wicked wyvern has heightened reflexes, allowing him to dodge most of the Source Hunters' basic moves. Using Tenebrium weapons is out of the question, since they regenerate the dragon's health. On top of that, it's an instant Game Over if Astarte dies.
Because of this, the Source Hunters must unleash everything they have while constantly adjusting their strategy to stand a chance against this ebony brute.
But if players want to call it a day before the fight begins, they can use a Lava trap chest. Placing this scroll below the Void Dragon when he appears will cause him to die instantaneously.
This technique gives the Source Hunters such an unfair advantage that you'd think the developers would fix it in the remaster. But in Divinity: Original Sin: Enhanced Edition, the Void Dragon can still be killed this way.
This trick is so simple to pull off, there are some who might feel bad for defeating the arch-villain in such an unceremonious manner. But if players don't want to bother with a difficult and lengthy battle, they'll be happy to know they don't have to.
