10 Video Games That Let You DESTROY The Final Boss
4. Elden Beast - Elden Ring
Since the dawn of gaming, players have been using overpowered and simple strategies to give them an unfair advantage over their opponent. (Anyone who's performed E. Honda's Hundred-Hand Slap in Street Fighter II knows what I'm talking about.)
This concept, known as cheesing, has become more prevalent recently, due to the Soulsborne games. The bosses in these titles are ludicrously difficult, compelling the gaming community to look for unconventional methods to make the battles easier.
Which brings us to Elden Ring. Although not every boss can be cheesed, there are a few techniques to make the final battle smooth sailing.
If the Tarnished moves directly behind the Elden Beast's back legs without performing broad movements, the shadowy behemoth will stand still. By using dual physical attacks while in this possession, the match can be over before the Elden Beast lifts a finger.
If players can't get the hang of this strategy, they are alternative methods. In fact, it's possible to obliterate the Beast without getting near it. After using a Mimic Tear, the creature can be spammed from a distance with spells. By casting Pest Threads and Meteorite Astel, this ancient god will be done for in no time.
