10 Video Games That Make You Rethink Time And Space
9. Bridge Constructor Portal
Whilst I'm not an architect, building bridges doesn't seem like too bad of a concept. Make sure it's straight, stable and not likely to drop its contents over the side.
But when you start adding portals to it?
Well, that's a whole new level of quantum conundrum-ing that would put Brunel to the test.
What starts off as a bridge over troubled water quickly evolves into bridges over passages through space and logistics that can still dump your convoy into water.
This means that you can't connect bridges to stanchions that aren't there, instead relying on some insane free-standing bridge-type deal to make it work. Or worse, you have to make sure the exiting portal traffic doesn't collide with the incoming to create a logistical nightmare.
Of course, the only real limits (besides the laws of motion) are your imagination, as BCP gives you ample space to construct some baffling wonders to overcome this.
As levels progress, pitfalls and other spicy traps are included to make it just that little bit harder, making one heck of a head scratcher as you go.
