10 Video Games That MUST Influence EA's Star Wars
5. Dishonoured
Games like Assassin’s Creed, Metal Gear, Thief and Splinter Cell all stand as the go to games for the stealth genre experience.
Nowadays, stealth is used in most kind of games. Sort of like how the success of Minecraft lead to multiple games including crafting mechanics, stealth has become either a major or additional component of most triple A games. However, it does not seem to have made its way into a Star Wars game.
This is another source of untapped potential just waiting to be explored, and a game like Dishonoured could offer a great tutorial in how to design a stealth based Star Wars game. In the Dishonoured series, you play as characters who go around assassinating targets or gathering intel using your various other worldly abilities to stalk, fight and in many cases toy with, your enemies.
Sounds like a great fit for Star Wars, right? Imagine sneaking around as a Jedi in Coruscant’s underworld after Order 66? You could use the force to distract guards, play mind tricks or cause all sorts of mischief.
This could fit in nicely with EA’s new acceptance of single-player Star Wars games.
