10 Video Games That Offer Their Best Content AFTER You Beat Them

Nintendo's iconic 1994 RPG EarthBound was massively ahead of its time when it came to post-game content. After defeating the final boss Giygas, players are able to re-visit the entire game world they've just liberated, free of enemies and now able to be explored at your total leisure.

Better still, you can interact with almost every NPC encountered prior, almost all of whom will have something new to say to you: some have moved on with their lives, while others haven't budged an inch.

You can easily spend several hours traversing the world and observing how everything has changed, which for a 25-year-old RPG is really quite something, and the all-timer cherry on top of an already incredible game.
