FIFA has plenty of rage-inducing elements to its design, from lacklustre online servers to its opportunistic approach to Ultimate Team player packs.

However, what it loses in stingy corporate practices it makes up for in gameplay, as the addicting mechanics of football fans' second favourite pass time (second only to watching the beautiful game) is enough to capture the attention of millions of gamers across the globe each year.

There is no feeling worse than conceding a 90th minute screamer to lose an online match of EA's flagship sports title. It's enough to shatter several controllers per iteration of the series, but doing it to someone else is as sweet as the being on the opposite side is sour.
