10 Video Games That Punish You For Double Crossing Characters

7. Choosing Triss AND Yennefer - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Joker learned his hard lesson in his 100 game in Persona 5 Royal but if you want you can sink a tonne of time into stuffing up relationships in The Witcher 3 if that’s something you want to do. In your defence, Triss and Yennefer are both very cool and down very bad for Geralt so you’d be forgiven for wondering if you can romance both and get away with it.

Spoiler alert, you absolutely can not.

While there are plenty of other bangable characters in the game you actually can get away with spending an evening with, these two are not so up for sharing with one another. The quest It Takes Three To Tango kicks off with both women asking you to come share a bottle of wine with them. Geralt, thinking for a moment that he can in fact have it all, is advanced upon by the two women before they simply take the wine, leave him chained to the bed and tell him off about being super shady.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, neither of the two will want anything to do with you after the fact so there goes Geralt’s big romance.
