10 Video Games That Should Be Ashamed Of Themselves
7. Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit
Even though it reviewed quite well, playing Fahrenheit (or Indigo Prophecy depending on where you lived) is just embarrassing from the very start.
It starts off well as a strange thriller with a few supernatural elements, and before you know it its descended into complete and utter nonsense involving aliens, Matrix-style fight scenes which make no sense, and giant bugs attacking you while you dodge them using quicktime events.
Oh, and that's not even mentioning the fact that a women completely falls in love with a bloke who may be dead, but is still walking the Earth. It's absolutely bonkers stuff, and you have to wonder what happened to the story as it falls so far off the rails as the game progresses.
The result is an absolute mess. When you finish it, you'll think to yourself: What the hell just happened? We're honestly convinced the developers - Quantic Dream - don't have a clue what happened in the end either.
It's a real shame too, as if it stuck to its guns and delivered a better narrative rather than descending into crazy town, it could have been a much better game overall.
The developers should be ashamed of themselves the most for the bizarre, dead-eyed kissing scene alone.
