The Last Of Us, released on PS3 in 2013 follows the story of zombie apocalypse survivors Joel and teenager Ellie as he escorts her through a post-apocalyptic world. This action-adventure survival horror transcended new levels of gameplay from the sound and art design, combat capabilities and graphics, but it was the characters and story of the game that made it resonate with gamers. The relationship that evolves between Joel and Ellie was hugely impactful at an emotional level that climaxes especially towards the end of the game. If we could see just one of the games on this adapted into a film, it would be The Last Of Us!
