10 Video Games That Start Hard But Get A Lot Easier Later On

Persona 4 features a long, drawn-out tutorial and introduction sequence, but when you actually get going with the game, it can be a real challenge, especially if you're not familiar with the series. Players have to manage their social lives and school schedules while also navigating dungeons and battling enemies.

As if all of that wasn't tricky enough, the early battles are pretty overwhelming too. Yukiko's Castle, one of the first main enemy-infested dungeons in the game, can be very difficult for new players, who only have a few characters and a very small pool of personas to choose from.

The mid-boss and final boss of this dungeon can be really hard to beat without some serious grinding or big stocks of health items. Later on in the game, your playable party expands and you get your hands on some mega-powered personas, include the likes of Satan himself, which help to make the dungeons and battles much easier.
