It may have only just hit the shelves (or more accurately, the Epic Games storefront), but Terrible Posture Games' 3 out of 10 is already hitting quite close to home for some within the industry.
A 'playable sitcom', the episodic title follows the daily grind at fictional games studio Shovelworks, its employees forced to toil on trend-chasing garbage that has no hope of troubling Metacritic's upper echelons (hence the name). The first episode focuses on new animator Midge Potter, whose dream job isn't quite what she expected: drawing sharks every day for an endless runner which, uniquely, has an end.
It's mighty close to the bone, then, but some real industry giants may need to sit up and take notice of Terrible Posture's barbic satire. We just hope with all the stones they're throwing, their own software house isn't made of glass...
