Recommended By: Michael - "Titanfall 2! A surprisingly decent campaign that I literally finished in one sitting! I felt there was a lot more that could have been explored with that story, and it felt like a small battle in a larger war (which it was, I guess)."

The first Titanfall game was released without a single-player campaign, making it an entirely multiplayer experience. While the game mechanics were impressive, plenty of fans felt as if they didn't get a complete game.

Fortunately, the devs were paying attention, so in 2016, EA released a sequel, complete with its very own single-player campaign. The gameplay was just as great as the first one, and the multiplayer experience was enhanced for the series' second outing.

Of course, it wouldn't land on this list without a complaint, and you can guess what the problem was with Titanfall 2. Sure, it had a single-player campaign the fans were clamoring for and some consider it one of the generation's best, but it was way too short. For the average player, completing the main story only required a little more than six hours.

That was the average amount of time a player needed, but the ones who honed their skills in multiplayer before tackling the campaign often completed the game in half the time. A lot of players may have wanted more from the campaign, but plenty more were just happy to have the option, no matter how short it was in the end.
