Before playing this game I was really unsure just what I was getting myself into, but taking the choice to check it out was definitely a good one. Journey offers one of the most striking visual experiences in modern gaming, letting players forget about gear-gathering or power-ups - or pretty much any over-complication for that matter. Each stage of the game flows with the player's easy motions, leaving the tranquility of the soundtrack and the effortless visuals to wash over them. Never before have I found myself talking so readily about simple atmosphere or moments of peace and quiet than I did here. Players talk often to each other about their favourite weapons or quests in games, but the charm of Journey is that I'll never forget some of its wonderful vistas.
