4. PC Players Get A Full Refund - Batman: Arkham Knight
Batman: Arkham Knight was a triumphant title, closing out Rocksteady Studios' masterful trilogy that also included Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City on a high.
However, there was one glaring problem with the cowled vigilante's third outing. (Well, two problems if you include the tank sections.) Although the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions were tremendous, the PC version was an unmitigated disaster of the highest order. Many players reported that the PC version of Arkham Knight was capped at 30fps, but could go as low as 10fps, making the game virtually unplayable.
After the hyped sequel was review-bombed into oblivion, Rocksteady had to suspend sales of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC until the situation was rectified. Even though the subsequent patches fixed a couple of issues and made the DLC free, there were too many lingering problems remaining to satiate anyone.
Anyone who purchased the PC version of Arkham Knight was given a refund. Although it's upsetting how Batman fans never got the chance to play the closing chapter of the Arkham series on PC, at least they didn't have to pay for it.
