10 Video Games Where The Villain Had Better Abilities

3. Darth Vader - Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

Now to be fair, the entire point of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is that our intrepid ex-Padawan hero hasn't yet reached anything close to his full potential as a Jedi.

All the same, when he comes face-to-face with Darth Vader at the tail-end of the game, it's tough not to laugh at the mismatch of an S-tier galactic s**t-wrecker taking on... The Blandest Man in the Universe, Cal Kestis.

Again, though, that's very much by design - Vader shows up at the eleventh hour, blocks all of your attacks, and easily overpowers you, because why would the outcome ever be any different?

Yet it's so much fun watching Vader use his incredible Force strength to obliterate the surrounding environment that it's tough not to wish you were just playing as him instead.

Cal's fine enough, but considering that the game doesn't even insult the player's intelligence by giving Vader a health bar during their "fight," there's no illusion here over who's the boss.
