10 Video Games With INSANELY High Completion Rates
1. The Last Of Us Part II - 60.2%
And finally, at the top of the shocking pile is perhaps the most surprising result of them all - the recently released The Last of Us Part II.
Naughty Dog's hotly anticipated survival horror sequel currently touts a 60.2% completion rate, a jaw-dropping figure for several reasons.
For starters, The Last of Us Part II is roughly double the length of its predecessor, running around 20 hours on the brisk end, and also boasting a fair degree of challenge even on Moderate difficulty.
More to the point, it is such a relentlessly bleak and stressful experience that nobody could be blamed for putting the controller down and opting to return to it once the outside world is in better shape.
But the game enjoyed extreme player retention, in part due to large portions of the world being in some form of lockdown over the summer, and most likely due to just how damn invested players were in the immersive, character-driven story.
Given some of the more daring and unexpected turns the narrative takes, even pissed off fans evidently couldn't be pulled away from it.
It may also have helped that the game included a virtually unprecedented number of accessibility options for players of all persuasions, ensuring it could be tailored to just about any specific players' needs - even completely blind players are able to beat the game.
