10 Video Games With INSANELY High Completion Rates

4. Final Fantasy VII Remake - 54.1%

As with Persona 5, JRPGs historically have an over-the-odds completion rate compared to lengthy games from other genres, but even so, that 54.1% of owners have beaten Final Fantasy VII, barely six months after its release no less, is mightily impressive.

The Final Fantasy franchise traditionally fares well with follow-through - Final Fantasy XV saw 37.7% of players reach the end - but Final Fantasy VII Remake's stats are nevertheless a very special case indeed.

On one hand it may reflect the game's highly anticipated nature, its relatively moderate level of difficulty, and players' desperate desire to see how it teed up Part II.

But Final Fantasy VII Remake is also around 30 hours long on the lower end, with side content taking it up to around 45-50.

That's quite the time investment, albeit one explained by one simple fact: huge chunks of the world were locked down at home just as the game hit stores.

It'll be interesting to see if the follow-ups, which will presumably, hopefully release when the world is back to normality, will get anywhere close to this figure. Survey says: probably not.
