10 Video Games With INSANELY Low Completion Rates

9. Red Dead Redemption 2 - 28.6%

Red Dead Redemption 2
Rockstar

Released in 2018, this sequel (or prequel really) hoped to follow in the successful path that the original Red Dead Redemption had forged in 2010. While making Rockstar another boatload of cash in the process. Although hopes were high and many expected it to sell well, it managed to far exceed every expectation that was put on it, both commercially and critically.

The game saw you in the mud-spattered boots of Arthur Morgan, navigating a huge world map based off five US states: - 2 from the original game and an additional 3, all made up for the series. The sheer spectacle of the landscape and the depth of the gameplay brought plaudits from all corners.

This depth and that let you get lost in the world was the strongest selling point and while the story and side missions alike are enthralling, the low completion rating isn't testament to a game that's badly made or that people can't be bothered completing. It might just be that this is the sort of game you never really want to end.

It's always good to see a story finish, but there's so much to do in the meantime here.
