10 Video Games With INSANELY Low Completion Rates
6. Final Fantasy IX - 20.88%
Released in 2000 by Square originally on the Playstation 1, this iteration of the series is maybe a little hard done by when it comes to the completion rating that it has.
Only the version released in 2010 as a Playstation Classic has stats recorded for it. So, perhaps more than any other on this list, this is not a fair representation of either reach, fanbase or dedication to seeing the game out.
Upon release, it was well received by critics and gamers alike. Choosing to move away from the futuristic settings that other titles in the series had used , it still retained the battle system and mechanics that other entries had, as well as the far-reaching and engaging storylines that Final Fantasy games have become famous for.
Final Fantasy XV on the other hand has only a marginally higher rate of 29.13%, despite being released in 2016 . With an estimated completion time of 40 hours or so just to see an ending of any description, there is a possibility that the relatively low completion rate isn't due to it being a bad game, but just more of a time sink than people new to the game would have expected.
