10 Video Games With INSANELY Low Completion Rates
5. GTA IV - 20.62%
When you're following on from the historic successes of titles like San Andreas and Vice City, not to mention the other games that preceded GTA III and the series' first foray into the 3D realm, there are very big, probably blood-spattered boots to fill.
While GTA IV does get a few more complaints nowadays for the main character not being particularly interesting and especially for the seemingly never-ending phone-calls from your over-enthusiastic cousin, there is no denying that the game was big when it came out.
Making more than half a billion US dollars in its first week of release, it broke all sorts of records in terms of sales and was a resounding success for Rockstar games. The percentage here seems to show that just a fraction over a fifth of the players actually worked their way far enough through the story to complete it.
But when the sales figures are as staggeringly huge as this, then there will always be a higher proportion who aren't going to put the time in to see the end of the plot.
Maybe they're still just going bowling to this day.
