10 Video Games You Didn't Know Had Multiplayer

5. Mega Man 7

GTA San Andreas
Capcom

Mega Man 7 may not be one of the most beloved entries into the smash platformer franchise, but it does boast one massively outstanding feature - a secret two-player Versus mode.

Those who beat the game and stick around through the credits will be gifted a 16-digit code, "1415 5585 7823 6251," which when inputted on the game's password screen, before pressing L+R and then Start, will unlock the mode.

Versus basically turns Mega Man 7 into a two-player fighting game, with players able to battle one another either as Boss or Mega Man himself, with the first player to rinse their opponent's life bar twice becoming the victor.

Considering how brilliantly well-suited the mode is to the rest of the game - rather than feeling like an experimental game-jam as so many hidden multiplayer modes do - it's completely ridiculous that Capcom chose to lock this behind a damn code.
