10 Video Games You Didn't Know Had Multiplayer

6. Onimusha: Dawn Of Dreams

GTA San Andreas
Capcom

The fourth Onimusha game, Dawn of Dreams, features a terrific co-op mode which can be accessed by both players pressing R1+R2+L1+L2 at the menu screen and player two pressing Start, which if successful will cause a sound effect to play.

Player two is then able to play as the game's NPC support character Jubei after she's introduced, and while the mode certainly has its eccentricities given that the game clearly wasn't designed to be played this way - particularly as it relates to the camera - it works more often than not.

For a feature that was effectively hidden, it's a whole lot of fun. It's just a shame that Capcom only thought to include a co-op mode, janky though it is, in the series' fourth and final entry, because it sure would've been awesome in the three superior prior games.
