For very, very obvious reasons, the streets of Los Santos and Liberty City don't feature any schools - which probably goes some way to explaining why their crime rates are so high. But education is not completely absent in the gun-toting world of Grand Theft Auto - it just happens most of its citizens graduated from private institutions such as Bullworth Academy in the leafy suburbs. Which probably goes even further to explaining why the crime rates are so high.

Jimmy Hopkin's school of hard knocks featured in an episode of GTA IV television programme I'm Rich, confirming the connection between the two Rockstar games. GTA V made further allusions; celebrity socialite Jill Von Crastenburg lists the New England boarding school as her alma mater. Some even reckon Bullworth ruffian Ricky Pucino is a dead ringer for GTA III's taciturn trouble-causer Claude - and you know, he really is. Somebody check his diploma...

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
