10 Video Games You Only Like Because Everyone Else Does

GoldenEye 007 is one of the best licensed games ever made. Faithfully adapting the James Bond universe, the title made waves when it released almost 20 years ago, ushering in a new era of split-screen multiplayer.

But look, nobody playing GoldenEye for the first time now - or even revisiting it all these years later - is going to say it's still as much fun as back in 1997. Unless you were there at the time, it's hard to appreciate what the game did for the industry as a whole, and while it's still one of the greatest James Bond tie-ins ever, it's not an untouchable classic.

It's just one of those games you have to love if you don't want to be called out for being a contrarian. GoldenEye has amassed a huge reverence over the years, and while it did push the medium forward, it passed on the torch far too long ago.
