10 Video Games You Should Play (Even Though They Suck)

4. Starfox Adventures

Simpsons wrestling
Nintendo

While under Nintendo's tenure, Starfox Adventures was the worst game crafted by Rare. Because the British developers left the company immediately after, it helped this Gamecube exclusive maintain its infamous reputation.

But is Starfox Adventures really that bad?

Yeah, pretty much. The voice-acting is cringey (even by Star Fox standards). The fighting mechanics are uncreatively limited. The outer space sequences, which helped define the franchise, barely appear. There are a couple of levels that are so minimal, you can tell the developers ran out of time while putting them together.

Also, Tricky... no other details necessary..

But this misaligned title is not without merit. The graphics are excellent, the music is beautiful, and the focus on character interactions and the overall story is a welcome departure for the series. Even though everyone hates Tricky, (as they should), the game finds creative ways to incorporate your sidekick into the puzzle-solving segments.

If you avoided Starfox Adventures after hearing nothing but bad things about it, you should give it a shot. It might not be what you were expecting, but it's definitely not as awful as you presumed.
