10 Video Games You Won’t Believe Are In Development

8. Two Worlds 3

Remember Two Worlds? I've never actually met someone who would go to bat for either the first or second games, but there must be die-hard fans out there somewhere, because a third title has been in the works for an entire console generation now.

The original RPGs never quite lived up to their potential, but both enjoyed a small amount of success. At the time, big high-fantasy role-playing games not made by Bethesda were surprisingly slim pickings, and Two Worlds picked up the slack to provide enough thrills, even if it couldn't match the same scale.

The second title dropped in 2011, and five years later a follow up was announced, originally set to launch in 2019. Of course, that didn't happen, and after an extended period of silence, the developers revealed in December 2018 that they were still in pre-production, and the release date had been pushed back until 2022, at the earliest.

Best case scenario, Two Worlds 3 will drop over ten years after the previous instalment, and I sincerely hope it will be worth the wait.
