10 Video Games You Won’t Believe Are In Development

3. A Hideo Kojima Directed Silent Hills Successor

It's mad how so much news is driven by random tweets in the modern age, but that's how we know Hideo Kojima is working - in some capacity - on a new horror game.

The director made waves back in 2015 when he dropped the terrifying P.T. and revealed he was in charge of the next Silent Hill. That demo is still talked about today for good reason: it was scarier than most full horror games.

We know that due to Konami holding the license that the project he's working on can't be Silent Hills, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. P.T. had nothing in common with that franchise other than a name, and the features and style that made it so memorable can easily be transferred over to a new, original product that might be even better.

It might unrelated as well, but legendary Silent Hill designer, Masahiro Ito, revealed he was working on a new secret game he hopes "won't be cancelled". Could it be he's teamed up with Kojima? Hopefully we'll know soon.
