10 Video Games You Won't Believe Share The Same Universe
5. Bully And Grand Theft Auto
While there's much speculation regarding the possibility of Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto taking place in the same universe, another Rockstar game has a much more solid relationship with the GTA world: the 2006 Bully.
The game's primary locations, Bullworth and Bullworth Academy, are not only mentioned but also shown on one of the TV shows in Grand Theft Auto IV called "I'm Rich". Bullworth Academy is described as a boarding school attended by celebrity star Jill Von Crastenburg, who makes small appearances in both GTA IV and GTA V.
Aside from this cameo, Bully has plenty of minor references to Grand Theft Auto in its world, like some of the car models in the game being actual vehicles from Vice City and San Andreas. To top it off, according to the GTA and Bully fan wikis, Rockstar has officially confirmed that Bully and its setting are part of their Grand Theft Auto HD universe.
Dan Houser, the video game producer behind Bully, even compared the game's main character Jimmy to GTA protagonists, saying that he liked to picture Jimmy growing out of his angry phase and not becoming a trigger happy criminal like Niko and others.
