This has been on wish lists for quite some time now, and it's another of those old FIFA features that was inexplicably taken away just as it was getting good.

Some gamers don't have the time or patience for a full 15-year campaign that may or may not lose punch a few seasons in anyway. Besides, EA have a wealth of different scenarios from real-life football at their fingertips. Try some of these different objective-based modes on for size.

As Wolves boss, the aim would be winning at least 10 home games and making sure you can stay in the Premier League. As Man City manager, the core objective would be going through the whole season without losing. As Middlesborough's chief, you'd be tasked with winning the Championship outright by at least 10 points.

Then, there'd be other, deeper scenarios like dealing with a squad sheet hammered by financial meltdown, taking charge of a club that's just seen an influx of cash from a sugar-daddy owner and must win the title, or finishing in the top four as Scottish giants Rangers and Celtic in England's top flight.

'Board Expectations' has delivered a layer of depth to Careers, and yet it's rarely critical that you tick them off.

What else would you do to improve FIFA's Career Mode? Let us know your suggestions down in the comments section!
